A bit of a change to how healing/medical characters work here.
Now if a medic sutures a wound, the patient will receive a temporary boost in health… it will eventually degrade back to the level where it would be if a medic had sutured you pre-update.
Basically they behave more like RL medics, where they can patch you up quick, but it doesn’t mean you are fully recovered.
Repeat ‘re-patches’ will provide a smaller health boost than the initial treatment. A medical station treatment will be required to reset your boost levels.
If a medic is also in the same room as a patient using a treatment station (and ideally RPing treating the patient), wait time is now cut in half.
Medics treating themselves receive less of a health boost, as logically suturing your own wound while injured may be difficult. And to receive a sped up wait time using a treatment station, more than one medic needs to be present.
